The camera used to shoot Ajay and Mission 8.

The EOS Rebel T3i/600D with 18-55mm zoom lens. An attached lens hood prevents glare from the sun and studio lights. The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Prime Lens (not pictured) was used for shooting.

A spirit bubble level is attached to the shoe-mount to measure proper balance when shooting. When used with the Glidecam (not pictured), it allows the operator to level the camera during shoots.

It can shoot 18 megapixels (5184×3456) resolution for photos and HD video (1080×1920) at 24FPS. The camera has a focal length crop (1.6x) meaning that a 55mm shot is really an 88mm shot.

The built-in flash opens automatically when it detects a low-light environment. The flash can be utilized or disabled manually.

The camera allows automatic and manual modes of operation. The viewfinder eyepiece is fine for still photography while the articulating LCD display is ideal for shooting video.

A microphone attached to the shoe-mount when recording video. In practice, this is not ideal as the camera does not record audio as well as a dedicated digital audio recorder.
