Behind The Scenes, Miriam Graves, Production | March 17, 2017
For the upcoming film, Miriam Graves, the sound for an entire scene was re-recorded from scratch.
The original camera audio was used as a temp track. Shelli St. George re-recorded her lines, precisely matching her lip movements. The automatic dialog replacement (ADR) session was done under the supervision of Richard Tur, the director of Miriam Graves.
The sounds of traffic was recorded later near the same location to create an ambience track. The sounds of individual vehicles were recorded separately and adjusted for volume leveling and stereo panning. Foley sounds included a bicycle, pedestrian footsteps, push cart and a flip phone were recorded as separate elements.
